PRESS RELEASE 22nd October 2018 For immediate release

Buxton Festival Fringe, which will celebrate its 40th year in 2019, has agreed an extra low entry fee for ‘early birds’.

With the Fringe opening for entries on December 1st, performers and event organisers will be able to take advantage of a special, one-off discounted entry fee running for the first three months up to the end of February. The £40 early bird entry fee represents a significant saving. Anyone entering in March will pay £70 and those waiting until April will pay £85. The Fringe closes for entries on Easter Sunday, April 21st. 2019's specially extended Fringe40 will run from July 3-24.

The Fringe will be announcing more of its Fringe40 plans as well as some facts and figures on 2018’s successful event at this year’s AGM on Wednesday November 14th at 7pm at The Green Man Gallery, Hardwick Square South, Buxton SK17 6PY. All are invited to this annual event which will include the opportunity for Q&A and discussion as well as wine and nibbles. An abbreviated committee meeting will follow at 8pm.

Fringe chair Keith Savage says: “We are looking to celebrate in style at Fringe40. Our Festival will be bigger than ever and we hope to welcome many old friends as well as those new to Buxton.”
