Fringe Early Booking Deadline Approaches

With the Buxton Fringe early booking deadline looming, the committee is urging both new and seasoned performers to take advantage of this great offer.

The early booking offer, which allows performers in all categories including comedy, dance, theatre, music family and visual arts, to book their place at the Fringe for a discounted price, ends on the 28th February.

The Fringe, which runs from July 8 to 26, is open to entries until April 19th, the final deadline for the printed programme, but the committee is hoping many will take up the early booking offer.

Fringe chair Keith Savage states: “ Watching both returning acts and new acts signing up is one of the most exciting times for the Fringe. We include an early booking offer to launch the Fringe, but also to make it as easy as possible for new shows to take part, and we would invite anyone to join this friendly Fringe.”

With many acts already confirmed such as close up magic, comedy by MJ Hibbett and Steve, a Day of Dance with Chapel–en-le-Frith Morris Men and an array of music from jazz, to opera and African drumming to choirs, the Fringe is already looking to be a spectacular event. Leading managed venue, Underground Venues, has also announced that it is open for applications.
