SIR ORFEO

The early 14th-century romance, Sir Orfeo, is a subtle and sinuous 'Englishing' of the classical myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, but one which has a happy ending. Fringe Award nominee, Michael Gibson presents his own translation alongside extracts in Middle English, accompanied by original music on the Anglo-Saxon harp.
