THE NIGHTINGALE OF SOUTH BANK

A play with live opera singing about the remarkable career of soprano Florence Easton, famously known as 'The Nightingale of South Bank'. In 1918 she created the role of Lauretta in the world premiere of Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, making her the first soprano to sing O Mio Babbino Caro.
